History of Teaser Trailers

A Teaser Trailer is a short trailer, used to advertise a new movie, game or TV series. The difference between a teaser trailer and a theatrical trailer is that it is much shorter and tends to contain little if not any footage of the film you would actually see, the reason they are called 'teaser' trailers is because they are normally shown a long time before the film comes out at the cinema, then the theatrical trailer that contains actual footage of the film comes out nearer the time.
