This is an example of a modern day magazine front cover for a film. Compared to the old magazine front cover we analysed it has a lot more information, whereas the old one was simply a picture and a heading.
This one however consists of a picture in the centre, a catchy title, a heading of the magazine, a date, a barcode, a price, and other news from inside the magazine to make you want to read the whole thing - and it is all clear to see. It is also color co-ordinated, mostly red, black and white. Whereas with a black and white picture it would make no difference.
It has also been well edited, where the text can be either behind of infront of the picture, on the other hand the old one was very limited. We are filming a black and white trailer however we are creating a modern day magazine front cover to promote it.
