Narrative

Our story is based on a child who has lost her mother from childbirth, and whose father resents her for it. They are a wealthy family who have a maid, however this film shows us that money doesn't bring happiness and throughout the film we see how the daughter (main character) is treated by her father and how she is consoled by her maid who is her 'guardian angel'. 

The maid cannot stand to see her suffer in this way, therefore decides to run away with her and she accepts as she also cannot stand to continue living with her father. We see that she goes through abuse where her father beats her due to his anger, this makes the audience sympathise with our protagonist.
