This poster of Oliver Twist is for the new film in colour. It is much simpler than the original black and white version, it consists of only Oliver Twist to show he is the main character and the most important. It shows him running away, obviously from danger which gives you and insight into what the film is going to show.
On one side of the background are buildings to show what time period it was set in, his costume also shows this and that he was clearly poor. As the picture goes to the right of the poster the picture gradually fades away to show him running towards the white part of the picture which could portray him going from a bad to a good part of his life which is what happens in the film.
The title is in big red letters which is also the case in the old poster, as red signifies danger and he does end up in a lot of danger through out the story. Even though this is not a black and white version it can still help us plan out our film because we can compare the way the story is shown and which version we think is better to see what we need to include in ours and what we don't.
