Changes to Magazine Cover

When looking at our magazine cover, it became clear to us that the way in which it was set out was very bland and we just was not happy with its overall appearance, therefore, we have had to totally re - design this and change many features, such the fact that we no longer have a white background, instead, as you can see above, this is now black, black is a strong colour and it really makes the writing and images over it stand out. We have also changed the colour of the number '4' in the title, this is due to the fact that the grey looked more subtle and realistic against the black background. For the picture, we have again used a background, through the use of the basic shapes, but this time a square shape as this looks better with the sqaure cut photograph. We have inserted the writing through the use of 'wordart' and have used the same type of font throughout as this is more affective. Over the main picture, advertising our film, we have put the words 'EXCLUSIVE SILENT MOVIE', over the top of the image, really making it stand out.
