Film Poster Analysis

This is an old film poster that we have used to give us ideas before creating our template for our own poster. It is in black and white, as ours would be, the only colour is the title of the film which is in yellow to stand out and is written across the page, the picture takes up the entire page and shows more than one shot. We know it is a love film from the passionate picture on the left, and the woman on the right looking sadly at the couple, we are yet to know who the man on the bottom right is but that is why we watch the film. It also has the names of the actors under the title in big writing, but not as big as the title and in grey, and in the bottom left hand corner there is the 20th Century Fox logo to show us who it was made by. We need to include all these features in our own poster to get the right effect and make it realistic.
