Our Ideas of Editing Our Short Movie To our Trailor

We want to get across to the audience the attitudes towards the daughter from her Father (THIS IS THE MAIN IDEA OF THE STORY)

We are aware that trailers put in scenes from the movie in different orders to what they are shown, we will need to do this in our trailer.

Plan of scenes

1. Dad gets up from the table

2. She is playing in the garden and maid smiles at her

3. Maid and daughter leaving

4. Dad in garden

5. Sitting at table eating dinner

We have chosen to use the Father's violent scene at the very beginning to hook the audience in and enable them to gain knowledge of the main theme of the film.

We have chosen to mix the order of the scenes up as to what they appear in our short movie task and to what they would appear in the real film if one was to be made. This is because the trailer's we have analysed so far and just the ones that we have looked at appear to have done this, this also creates a sense of uncertainty as to what the film is actually about and in order for the audience to find out, they would have to go and watch the film.
